Easton’s New Clubhouse Is Open: A Look Inside This 55+ Community in Avon, Indiana

If you’ve been searching for a 55+ community in Avon, Indiana, Easton by Lennar has quickly become one of the communities Hendricks County buyers should know about. And one of the biggest pieces of the Easton lifestyle is now here: the Nottingham Clubhouse is open.

I’m Tony Janko, better known locally as Mr. Hendricks County, and I’ve been following Easton as it develops. I previously filmed an in-depth tour of the overall neighborhood and then returned for another video focused specifically on the homes and floorplans.

Now I went back for a quick tour of the finished clubhouse so buyers can see what this part of the Easton lifestyle actually looks like.

What is Easton in Avon, Indiana?

Easton is a 55+ active adult, master-planned community by Lennar in Avon, Indiana, located in Hendricks County just west of Indianapolis. Lennar describes the community as being designed around low-maintenance living, an active lifestyle and opportunities for residents to socialize and connect.

For many of the buyers Toni Eads and I work with, that combination is important.

They may be ready to leave a larger home and yard behind, but that doesn't necessarily mean they want a small home or a traditional retirement community. They still want a beautiful new home, space for family and friends, opportunities to stay active and convenient access to everything they use on a regular basis.

That's the niche Easton is designed to fill.

The Nottingham Clubhouse Is Now Open

The clubhouse is a major part of what separates Easton from a typical new-construction neighborhood.

Lennar lists amenities including the clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, pickleball, tennis, bocce ball, park, trails, ponds and fully maintained lawns. The Nottingham Clubhouse itself includes gathering spaces, an exercise room and gym, golf simulator and communal kitchen for events and activities.

Easton also has an onsite Lifestyle Director who coordinates activities, events and programs for residents throughout the year.

That last part is worth emphasizing.

A clubhouse can look impressive in pictures, but what ultimately matters is whether homeowners actually use it. Easton is designed to create opportunities for residents to meet their neighbors, stay active and participate in community activities if they choose.

You can participate as much—or as little—as you want.

What Is Inside the Easton Clubhouse?

During my latest visit, I took a quick walk through the new clubhouse to give buyers a better idea of what they'll actually have available to them as Easton homeowners.

There are spaces for fitness and exercise, areas for residents to gather and socialize, the golf simulator, community and event spaces, and areas designed for organized activities.

Outside, the overall amenity package extends to swimming, pickleball, tennis and bocce ball.

For someone considering downsizing, I think this is where Easton's concept begins to make more sense.

Instead of maintaining a large property yourself, you're moving toward a community where more of your time can be spent doing the things you actually enjoy.

How Much Are Homes at Easton in Avon?

Pricing changes as homes are sold and new inventory becomes available, so buyers should always check current availability rather than relying on an older advertised price.

As of September 2026, Lennar is advertising Easton homes from approximately $289,995 to $572,985.

There are currently three different home collections, giving buyers a fairly broad range of sizes and price points. Lennar currently lists the Northern Collection from approximately 1,270 to 1,576 square feet, the Central Collection from approximately 1,674 to 2,015 square feet, and the Southern Collection from approximately 2,332 to 2,550 square feet.

What Does the Easton HOA Include?

Lennar currently lists Easton's approximate HOA fee at $298 per month.

The low-maintenance concept is an important part of the community. Lennar specifically lists fully maintained lawns among Easton's services and amenities, while the information provided to me by the Easton sales team indicates the HOA also includes lawn care, snow removal, trash service and access to the clubhouse and amenities.

For someone who has spent decades taking care of a house and yard, that can be a significant lifestyle change.

Imagine an Indiana snowfall where your first thought isn't, "I need to get the driveway cleared."

Or a beautiful Saturday morning when mowing the lawn isn't on your agenda.

That's really the lifestyle proposition here.

Who Should Consider Easton?

Easton is worth considering for buyers who are 55+ and looking for new construction in Avon or Hendricks County, particularly those who want less exterior maintenance without giving up an active lifestyle.

It can also make sense for someone who wants to downsize from a larger Hendricks County home but isn't necessarily looking for the smallest home possible. With floorplans ranging from roughly 1,270 to 2,550 square feet, buyers have options ranging from relatively compact single-level living to considerably larger homes with additional space for guests, hobbies and entertaining.

The location is another advantage. Easton is in Avon with access to US 36 and the shopping, restaurants, healthcare and everyday services available throughout Avon and Hendricks County. Lennar also highlights connections to local parks, trails and the broader Easton Grey development.

Should You Use a Realtor When Buying at Easton?

This is an important question, especially if you already own a home.

The sales representative at the model home works with the builder. Having your own experienced real estate agent gives you someone focused on helping you evaluate the purchase.

And there's more to consider than simply deciding which kitchen or model home you like.
